Here are a few tips to best engage with our lessons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please supervise your young learners during the \u2018Outdoor Exploration\u2019 part of the lessons.<\/li>\n<li>If children are unable to go outside for the \u2018Outdoor Exploration\u2019 component, invite them to look out a window to complete the activity as best they can or wait until they are able to go outside with supervision.<\/li>\n<li>When children are invited to share \u201cout loud\u201d in a lesson, encourage them to speak in any language they wish.<\/li>\n<li>Before printing these lesson plans and workbooks, consider ways of reducing paper use to better care for our environment. Each lesson plan is paired with a video available on YouTube as well as a workbook for students to fill out. Lessons connect with science, social studies, geography, and media literacy curricula in Ontario, and can be completed at home or in the classroom.
